Title: Lloyd C. Bird High School
1Lloyd C. Bird High School
2Scientist Why does something happen? Engineer
How to deal with the issue.
3Engineers take their knowledge of math and
science and turn it into solutions to problems in
a myriad of fields. Engineers design, build,
test, and improve things which affect all aspects
of our lives.
4Mission
Our MISSION is to provide a program of studies to
EXPLORE a wide range of engineering fields, while
BUILDING the core skills necessary to further
ones education in engineering. The academic
curriculum that a student follows is both
RIGOROUS and centered around lab experiences to
better prepare the student for the rapidly
changing technologically based fields.
5VISION
- Advanced course work in Science Math
- Exposure to various fields of engineering
- Integration of computer skills
- Practical applications of engineering concepts
- Potential for field experience with the goal of
concentrated specialty study at 4-year college
or graduate school.
