11INTEGRATED CONCEPT TEAM (ICT)
- The purpose is to develop concepts and define
capabilities, and to determine modernization
requirements, rationale, costs, and strategy
across the Doctrine, Training, Leader,
Organization, Materiel, and Soldier (DTLOMS)
domains - ICT complements the Integrated Product Team (IPT)
by formation of ICT early in the concept
development process enabling transition IPT when
a materiel requirement receives MS I approval - ICT brainstorm concepts from both visionary and
practical perspectives, with the goal of
shortening the requirements determination process
by providing better earlier focus. - Participation by the science and technology
communities gives the ICT an awareness of the
possible, precluding the pursuit of dead end
requirements. - Each ICT will leverage support from academia,
contractors, joint community, and other
government agencies - AMEDD has five ICT Casualty Care Medical

operational capabilities (FOCs) for force
protection requirements including Preventive
Medicine, Preventive Dentistry, Veterinary,
Laboratory, Combat Stress and NBCE.
