Academic Advisement
  • Directly following this meeting you must attend a
    group meeting with your assigned advisor in FMM.
  • Always bring your curriculum worksheet and your
    degree audit (DARS) with you. This is your guide
    from semester to semester.

Academic Advisement
  • Group advisement sessions will take place prior
    to registration for spring 2009 classes. You
    will receive an e-mail blast with these dates.
    We urge you to attend one of these sessions.
  • In addition to group advisement, one-on-one
    advisement is available with an FMM advisor
    during the day or during evening hours. Contact
    the receptionist in the FMM office to schedule
    after the third week of classes.

GRADES
  • Students MUST maintain a 2.0 GPA.
  • Falling below 2.012 credit probation and / or
    Academic Dismissal.
  • Students have up to 6 weeks to withdraw from a
    class---tuition penalties apply notify
    Professor.
  • Grades of Incomplete are calculated as an F
    until completed.make up exams offered the
    following semester Fee 25

Graduation Requirements
  • FITs graduation ceremony is held in May
  • Students must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.0 to
    receive a degree
  • Students must complete 68 to 72 credits
  • All FMM / FIT requirements must be met no
    exceptions
  • The Request to Graduate form must be completed
    (30 bursar fee) this form is mailed to you or
    can be picked up in C-158 Registrars Office

Applying to Bachelors Program
  • Applications are available on line must re-apply
    if interested. (25 fee, no essay required)
  • Applications should be filed no later than
    December 15, 2009 for fall 2010.
  • Bachelor candidates should attend Upper Division
    advisement meetings in spring semester 2010 (or
    semester prior to attending)
