  • What is the B.A.A.S.?
  • The Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences
    (B.A.A.S.) degree is a four-year degree
    designed to offer students with
    vocational-technical training, academic, and/or
    professional experience in occupational fields,
    the opportunity to obtain a baccalaureate degree.

B.A.A.S. Program Admission

  • completion of B.A.A.S. degree plan evaluation.
  • Make application to the university and meet
  • admission requirements.

  • Occupational Specialty 36 hrs
  • Academic Core 48-54 hrs
  • Professional Development 36 hrs
  • (30 hours must be advanced)
  • Minimum hours needed 124 hrs
  • 31 residency hours required. (Internet courses
    qualify as residency hours.)
  • 69 hour limit on junior college hours
  • Writing Proficiency Requirement (WPR)
