Problem
  • People come to Management Society meetings and
    some time feel unwelcome or uncomfortable because
    of our jargon, insider conversations, and
    background.
  • We want to make everyone feel welcome.

Areas of Concern
  • Casual dress for professional meetings
  • No jeans, sweatshirts, etc.
  • LDS Church jargon
  • Ward hospital?
  • Use of church titles, feel of a church meeting,
    etc.
  • I am not a BYU graduate.
  • BYU Football
  • Sensitivity to graduates of various universities

  • All members should clearly conduct themselves in
    a professional manner (not casual or
    ecclesiastical) through dress, speech, meeting
    agendas, etc.
  • Members and leaders and culturally and socially
    aware of their differences and strive to make
    them strengths.
