• Lord, there are way too many times that I fail to
  honor, acclaim, glorify and exalt you. Usually
  its because Im so focused on me and my
  circumstances that it just doesnt even cross my
  mind to pause and give you praise. At other times
  Ive wanted to praise you but wasnt sure if
  there was a right way to do it.
• In this quiet moment I thank you that You have
  created me, that You love me and that Youve kept
  your promises to me. I acknowledge that You have
  redeemed me through the blood of my Lord Jesus
  Christ that I might proclaim your praise.
• Teach me how to become a person of praise. Set me
  free from any hang-ups or unhelpful inhibitions
  that may have come from my natural temperament or
  the culture or the religious traditions which
  have shaped my life. Give me the courage to
  choose to glorify You by praising You the best I
  can. Id rather stumble and stammer than be
  silent. I want the praise of my lips to be more
  than matched by the way I praise You through how
  I live.
• I ask these things in the name of my Lord Jesus
  Christ for the honor and glory of your name. Amen
