An Outline of Generic Latisse
Latisse eyelash serum generic is an FDA-approved
therapy for lashes that are too short. People who
want to use Latisse can request it from a
qualified medical professional and have it
distributed or pick it up at a local
drugstore. Dosage and Application of Latisse What
exactly is Latisse? Latisse has gained popularity
as an eyelash growth serum, but does it actually
work? Buy generic latisse which is a synthetic
prostaglandin analog that includes the active
component bimatoprost ophthalmic solution 0.03
percent. The FDA authorized Latisse to treat
hypotrichosis of the eyelashes by increasing
their length, thickness, and blackness. Latisse
is supposed to function by increasing the
percentage of hair in the growth phase and the
length of the growth phase. Blood levels
following one drop of Latisse have been shown to
peak within ten minutes and fall below detectable
levels 1.5 hours later. Latisse is applied
nightly with an applicator to the skin of the
upper eyelid edge at the root of the eyelashes.
Any remaining Latisse medication should be wiped
away, and the Latisse applicator should only be
used once. Side Effects of Latisse There are
several Latisse negative effects. Latisse adverse
effects include iris pigmentation, decreased
intraocular (eye) pressure, hair growth outside
of the treatment region, contact lens
discoloration, and infection if the applicator
becomes contaminated. Itching, skin changes, dry
eye, and other eye diseases are also possible
adverse effects of Latisse usage. Latisse, like
most drugs, might trigger an allergic response in
persons who are sensitive to it. People who are
hypersensitive to the drug should not take
Latisse. Questions about the usage and safety of
Latisse should be referred to one's doctor or
pharmacist.
