• Your book report will be an oral report presented
  before the entire class. The following is a list
  of ideas to help you in planning your
  presentation. You must choose ONE of the ideas
  upon which to base your report. Presentations
  are to be between 1-3 minutes. They will be
  timed.
• Because this is an oral presentation, it is not
  necessary to turn in any sort of written report.
  Whatever idea you use, you must include the
  following information title of book, authors
  name, date of publication, and number of pages.
• Book Report Ideas
• Pretend that you are the main character from your
  book and summarize the plot from the point of
  view of that character. If you wish, you may
  dress like that character.
• Convert the plot of the book into a song and
  perform it.
• Design the front page of a newspaper based on the
  events of the book.
• Design a shadow box of one of the key scenes of
  the book.
• Do a dramatic reading of a scene in the book.
• Fashion a mobile from items related to the book.
• Create a story map of the book on construction
  paper. Write captions under each picture that
  tell the action of the plot.
• Design a new book jacket for the book.
• Make a travel poster describing the location of
  the books action.
• Make a poster to advertise the book for people to
  buy it.
• Create a collage to represent the mood or theme
  of the book.
• Write a comic book version of the book with
  illustrations.
• Draw a timeline to illustrate the events in the
  story.
• Prepare a chart showing the characters, their
  relationships, and a few biographical facts about
  each one.
• Illustrate the story in a multimedia presentation
  with slides, video, or pictures and music.
