4Who Are The Orange County Flyers?
In March, 2007, an investment group led by
Desperate Housewives star James Denton and Alan
Mintz, a movie producer, local businessman and
former Minor League Baseball team owner,
purchased the Fullerton Flyers, an independent
league baseball team based in one of Southern
Californias most affluent markets.
5About The Flyers
- Upon purchase, name was changed to Orange County
Flyers - This change expanded fan base from 130,000 to
more than 3 million - Member of the Golden Baseball League
(www.goldenbaseball.com) - Competes in an 88-game season from June
September with 44 home games

will further increase exposure - 50 of fans come from Orange County beyond

The Flyers have entered into a co-production
agreement with The Conlin Company
(www.theconlincompany.com), reality television
producers responsible for American Idol Extra,
Hells Kitchen, Nanny 911 and many others. The
agreement to develop a reality TV show about
minor league baseball featuring the Flyers
presents a significant opportunity for sponsors.
A reality show is, in many ways, a weekly
half-hour commercial for the team a commercial
that can be expected to build valuable awareness
and interest for the club and its sponsors.
