So What is Survivor?
  • Survivor is a true all night event based around
the competitive spirit of your residents.
  • Recommended start time is 6pm with registration
and it has concluded anywhere from 1am to 4am.
  • The participation allowance is from 30-80 people
  • You will average 6 teams but that is variable on
    your attendance
  • You then will run your six teams through a
variety of challenges in order to determine a
    final team winner

4
What is Survivor Cont.
  • From there you will split your final team into
individuals and they will battle it out for a
    final grand prize
  • Your prize is usually extravagant, example 200
dollar gift certificate to the mall or tickets to
    go skydiving
  • Your planning time is on average 6 weeks with
    once a week meetings
  • Budget for all events including prize is 400
    dollars
  • The easiest way to pull this off is if you have
    6-8 RAs

5
What are the Strengths of the Program?
  • It is amazingly fun to put together
  • Its super easy to advertise for
  • You get to see your residents do amazing things
