Supplemental Instruction (SI)

• Academic Assistance Program that Increases
  Student Performance and Retention
• Targets traditionally difficult academic courses
  (high D, F, or WD percentage)
• Not for high-risk students
• Uses Peer Leaders trained in facilitating study
  sessions
• SI Leaders attend the targeted class and set up 3
  study session per week
• Attendance results in a half to whole letter
  grade higher than those not attending
