Non-Profit Organization (NPO). Such a company is
incorporated with an objective of promotion of
arts, charity, education, commerce, poverty
elevation, protection of environment, social
welfare, research, religion, sports with an
intention to apply its profits or any other
income so earned in promoting its objectives.
7Company Registration Process Step 1 The first
and foremost step is to file web form RUN for
application of the name of the proposed Company,
two names can be applied according to their
preference. Step 2 Once the desired name is
approved the digital signature certificate (DSC)
of the directors need to be applied,
simultaneously preparation of the incorporation
documents i.e. declaration, consent, no objection
certificate and Memorandum and article of
association of the proposed company These
documents should ideally be prepared by
professionals having expertise in Companies Act,
2013 i.e. company secretaries. Step 3
Incorporation forms need to be prepared, signed
by the proposed director and further certified by
a professional i.e. CA/ CS/ CMA/ Advocate. Step
4 Time taken in company formation is between ten
to twelve working days depending upon the
Government approvals in Incorporation.
