Palace on Wheels, a luxury train for the
tourists, was launched by the Indian Railways in
association with Rajasthan Tourism Development
Corporation. The main purpose was to promote
Rajasthan tourism. Considered as the 4th most
luxurious train in the world in 2010, the Palace
on Wheels was re-launched with a new decor,
cuisine, and itinerary in 2009.

are known by the name of the states of Rajasthan
