Thyroid-stimulating Hormone (TSH)
This is a thyroid hormone evaluation test which
determines the increase (hyperthyroidism) or
decrease (hypothyroidism) in the production of
thyroid by pituitary gland. This test is widely
used for the detection of various thyroid
disorders, for monitoring the treatment of
anti-thyroid therapy, for the detection of
underactive thyroid in newborns and also for the
screening and diagnosis of infertility issues in
women.

Total Cholesterol Test
The Cholesterol test is conducted along with
lipid profile to evaluate the risk of developing
a cardiovascular disease and for diagnosis of
issues related to heart. Total Cholesterol test

DHEA sulfate test is widely used to evaluate the

levels (qualitative) in the urine, which is a
hormone produced by placenta. HCG test is also
used for monitoring pregnancy, as in healthy
pregnancy the level of hCG increases in the first
trimester (up to 10th week).

reproductive ability of women as this hormone is
a prominent marker present in high amount in
women of reproductive age only. Estradiol test is
recommended in cases like women with menstrual
abnormalities, abnormal vaginal bleeding, early
or delayed puberty, functioning of ovaries and
analysis of fertility treatment.

Chlamydia test is ordered to check successful
diagnosis and treatment for bacteria Chlamydia
trachomatis. Chlamydia is one of the common STD
and can lead to severe problems. Testing for
Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhea
