- A pre-policy medical checkup is a pre-policy

complete blood count, ECG, routine urine
analysis, lipid profile test, blood serum test,

your insurer may ask you to undergo several other
tests too as they have a grid pattern that
specified the number of tests to be conducted.

Authority of India (IRDAI), 50 cost of the
medical checkup is to be borne by the insurance
company. - Few insurance companies also let you avail free
medical checkup.

- The test reports are sent to the underwriting
department of the insurance company for review. - If any ailment is not deducted, then the policy
is issued to the applicant at normal premium
rates. - If an ailment is deducted then the following
