1Cool Electronic Gadgets 2018
gadgetonic.com/
Gadgets are just pieces made of plastic or metal
in our lives, right? Not quite. About two decades
ago phones were only meant for making calls.
There was nothing called a Tablet. PCs were only
used to send emails. Things have changed now with
cool electronic gadgets on the market. Nowadays
it is possible to find wallpaper-thin Tvs, drones
that can dive underwater, and a computer the size
of a credit card. Voice-activated artificial
intelligence, wireless charging, and digitized
note-taking provide just a hint of what is to
come. More than anything as tech evolves the main
benefit will be that life becomes a bit
easier. Many high-profile tech companies
typically hold their own separate events
throughout the year to unveil new electronic
gadgets, rather than debuting at world renowned
exhibitions. Lets take a look at the next big
trends in tech 2018. We collected the list of
cool electronic gadgets you wouldnt want to miss.
2Amazon Echo In the race to lead the way in
voice-control command software, Amazon Echo is
claiming a stake in the niche market. You can
order cabs, run Spotify playlists, turn your
heating up (via the smartphone app Hive), get a
takeaway, search Google, and a myriad more
besides. And all at the sound of your voice.
BO Beoplay A2 active speaker BO has made the

5This new speaker from Lenovo is a slightly
cheaper and more colorful alternative to the
Amazon Echo. It includes eight microphones that
Lenovo claims can pick up speech from 16 feet
away. Also, as its powered by Amazons Alexa
voice assistant, you would get the same software
abilities that you would with Amazons own gadget
on the Lenovo Smart Assistant. Similarly, Lenovo
is promoting the Smart Assistant as an ideal
taskmaster or virtual assistant like answering
questions, managing calendars and to-do lists,
and playing music.
Razer Project Valerie Razers Project Valerie
concept does wonders for multitasking by adding
two foldable displays that expand out from the
primary screen in the center. This allows the
user to work or play more all on one
screen. Each display is 17 inches diagonally and
supports 4K resolution. Razer says they can be
used independently or together as one giant
display, which is ideal for places where the user
needs multiple screens to work, such as an office
environment. The downside though is its weight
at 12 pounds. This makes it limited to mainly
beefy gaming laptops, but is way more than the
average notebook.
6Intel Credit Card-Sized Computer While some
laptop and desktop computers are designed to be
customized and upgraded, Intel is conjuring up
ideas about how well be upgrading the various
Internet-connected home appliances and robots we
may own in the future. Introducing Intels
Compute Card, a mini-computer, which is about the
size of a credit card, designed to be easily
inserted into smart devices. The notion is to
make upgraded electronic gadgets such as smart
refrigerators, interactive retail kiosks, and
connected security cameras as easy as taking out
one component and replacing it with another. The
advantage of this methodology is that it makes it
no longer necessary to buy a complete new system
once new standards in connectivity or faster
processors are introduced. Essentially, the
computer includes all of the components of a
standard-sized computer, including a processor,
memory, storage, and wireless technology.
7PowerRay Aquatic Drone PowerVisions new PowerRay
drone sounds like a fishermans dream. This
waterproof vehicle, which can operate in fresh

parent.
VerveOne
9All of the commotion about Apples Airpods, the
replacement for the headphones for the iPhone 7
phones, was not the manufacturers finest hour.
They looked like regular Apple earbuds with the
power cords cut off. Released quietly, way behind
schedule and received universal criticism from
just about everyone. Plenty of companies came
out swinging against Apple in the aftermath, but
Motorola were the ones to put their money where
their mouth is and released the
VerveOnes. Theyll work with iOS and Android
devices, giving them a universal edge. Allegedly
have eight hours of battery life (the AirPods
only claim five), are splash-proof, lightweight
and deliver impeccable sound quality and are
slightly less expensive than the AirPods.
Faraday Future 1050HP Electric Car As the auto
industry becomes more tech-dependent, automobiles
are claiming more and more of a stake in the fun
at CES. This years stand out automobile was the
FF 91 from Faraday Future. The FF 91, Faraday
Futures flagship car, has many unique features
like a 1,050HP electric motor that does 0-60 mph
in 2.39 seconds, a range of 378 miles, a built-in

reality, and the Google Home is the latest entry
into the voice-controlled assistant category. As
it is from Google, The Google Home benefits from
Googles extensive artificial intelligence

to be slipped into the wearers bra, freeing up
users to do other activities. Once Willow senses
the storage bags are full, it stops on its own.
Its even quiet enough to wear out of the house.
AIRE This digestive tracker wants to help you
figure out which foods are most compatible with
your body. A user blows into AIRE like a
breathalyzer in order to determine the level of
gas in his or her bloodstream. The data gathered
on AIREs smartphone app estimates how a users
body will respond to different types of foods,
giving a more objective approach to dieting.
12Its no doctor, dietician or nutritionist
replacement, but it could offer useful insights
about the effects of a users diet.
Jet Pack International H2O2 Jet Pack
International are making great strides in jetpack
technology with the H2O2 and H2O2-Z jetpacks. As
the name suggests, both the H2O2 and H2O2-Z are
hydrogen peroxide-fueled jetpacks that will allow
users to fly at up to 77 miles per hour at a
maximum height of 250 feet. So far, the
higher-capacity H2O2-Z is only capable of a
maximum flight length of 33 seconds and a maximum
travel distance of 3,300 feet.
Aerofex Aero-X
13A real-life equivalent of the Star Wars speeder
bike, and the result of more than 15 years of
research and development, the Aerofex Aero-X
brings science fiction to life. Powered by a
water-cooled 240 horsepower engine and two large
rotors, the Aero-X can hover at an altitude of 12
feet and travel at speeds of up to 45 miles per
hour. It can also carry up to 310 pounds. The
potential for the Aero-X is boundless.
TALOS Iron Man suit TALOS stands for Tactical
Assault Light Operator Suit, a combat suit that
the US Army hopes will become a reality within
the next four years. The TALOS provides
ballistic, shock and fire protection for Special
Operations soldiers. A collaboration between
universities, government agencies and
corporations, the development of the TALOS suit
is to provide these soldiers with better, more
mobile and more versatile protection than what
currently exists.
14Titan Arm The Titan Arm is the work of a team
from the University of Pennsylvania, and is a
strength- enhancing upper-body exoskeleton that
will help you lift an extra 40 pounds. Its
designed to give you extra power when lifting,
without the need to work out at the gym. Be it
like a winch attached to your arm. The Titan Arm
is built to help rehabilitate people whove
suffered serious arm injuries or strokes as well
as to provide some extra strength and protection
for anyone who lifts heavy objects for a living,
thus eliminating any potential compensation
claims or employment tribunals.
Super Maglev Train China and Japan already have
very fast Maglev trains that are capable of
reaching over 260 miles per hour, but the
next-generation Maglev technology will apparently
be even faster. The Chinese researchers behind
the technology have it dubbed Super Maglev.
15Super Maglev is designed on the same Maglev
technology, but incorporates the train in a
vacuum tube. This reduces air resistance, and the
reduction in air resistance, the researchers
claim, could see trains reaching speeds of up to
1800 miles per hour. Constructing long vacuum
tubes and keeping them pressurized is certainly
no easy feat. However, if scientists and
engineers can figure that out, we may one day be
able to cross large distances quicker and safer
than weve ever imagined possible.
Cave2 Cave2 is a hybrid reality environment that
lets artists, scientists and engineers become
fully immersed in their research, giving them a
much greater insight into their field. Made up of
72 LCD panels, a 20-speaker surround sound system
and a 10-camera optical motion tracking system,
it is a 360-degree structure that wraps around
the user. With 3D glasses, scientists and
engineers will be able to virtually experience
and move through anything. A doctor or medical
student can move through the human body. An
astronomer can delve into the solar system in
immense detail. The potential for Cave2 is
enormous, especially for situations involving
large amounts of data requiring visualization.
163D Printed Food 3D printing is gaining accolades
the world over, convincing people that its for
more than just gadgets. Food is also something
that can feasibly be 3D printed. German company
Biozoon is harnessing the power of 3D printing to
create seneoPro, a range of 3D-printable powder
mixtures that solidifies when printed but also
very quickly melts when eaten. Patients who
suffer from dysphagia the inability to swallow
would benefit from such technology as it would
reduce the risk of choking. As 3D-printed food
is so versatile, it gives the ability of any
amateur budding chef to conjure up all kinds of
mixtures and recipes. And you can also add
coloring agents and texturizers to make the food
even more appealing.
Dipole Coil Resonant System
17Until recently, wireless charging meant charging
without wires and cables. However, a team from
the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and
Technology says wireless charging can also be
done remotely. The team recently demonstrated a
prototype of a new Dipole Coil Resonant System
(DCRS) that can wirelessly power devices up to 15
feet away. It does this by using a magnetic
field. This field is apparently powerful enough
to charge up to 40 mobile phones. The team claim
it can also power larger devices such as TVs and
stereo systems. For now though, the technology
is still in its infancy, but Cota is the closest
and latest technology that will be available to
everyone over the coming months.
Hover Camera The Hover Camera is effectively a
type of drone. It can snuggly fit in pockets as
it easily gets folded like a book and it has a
very light weight (242g), which makes it portable
and easy to carry almost anywhere. This Hover
Camera can take photos and videos from different
perspectives. Its very simple to use and it has
Release and Hover functionality, which is
(expand on this). It can take 13 MP photos and
can shoot 4K videos. It runs on a Qualcomm
Snapdragon 801 2.3 GHz Quad-core processor.
Instead of running on GPS, it uses body and face
recognition. It can easily connect to your phone
over WiFi, and after you have shot any
photo/video, it gets downloaded on your
phone. This camera has gone through various Drop
Tests, Twist Tests, etc. It follows you around
and it also has 360 spin and orbit mode. You can
also do camera angle adjustment.
