The Budget The Purpose
  • When building a PC the first two things one must
focus on is the budget and the purpose you are
    building a PC.
  • This helps you to figure out what kind of
hardware you will be adding to your build.
  • A budget is like a guideline on which you can
build your system around, whether or not to have
high-end parts or just have basic hardware that
    will get the job done.
  • The purpose of building a PC is the goal you are
looking to achieve through your system.
  • If you are building a PC for home or office use a
cheap budget PC is what you will go for, but if
you are going to do some hardcore gaming or tasks
that will push your processor and will require a
GPU then you are looking at a fairly more
    expensive build.

Looking For Parts Comparison
  • When you have decided on your budget and the kind
of tasks that you will be performing on your
system the next thing you would want to do is
    parts hunting.
  • Building a framework in your mind or maybe
building an online shopping cart with the
hardware is what will give you an understanding
of what your system will look like.
  • Depending on the kind of work you will be
performing you need to choose if your system
requires a GPU and whether or not to buy a
    graphics card.
  • A high end graphics card will help you run all
triple A game titles on higher framerates and
also provide better editing quality for video
    editing.
  • A high end processor and ram will help you with
shorter render times for your video projects.
  • Where as on the other hand a basic processor, ram
and no or basic GPU will best suit you if you
arent going to be doing CPU extensive tasks.

Online vs Offline
  • You can buy your PC online or pick your parts
from an offline vendor or computer store.
  • Building a PC offline will mean you have someone
to guide you and give their opinion on the kind
of hardware you will be choosing.
  • Whether you buy a computer monitor, buy a
graphics card and all other components together
or buy a pre built system from a computer shop.
  • Apart from just the CPU hardware and the system
itself you will also need to choose a range of
peripherals like a monitor, mouse, keyboard,
headphones, speakers etc depending on your needs.
  • Here as well you will face a situation where you
will have to choose whether you want to spend
more and get the best or stick to the basic.
  • With the ever growing PC world one can choose the
best gaming keyboard and mouse for an elusive
gaming experience and can team this up with a
gaming monitor which will push all the pixels at
    quicker response times.

  • When you buy a system you can also have a look at
certain demo systems or equivalent hardware to
get an idea of what your system will look like.
  • Where as buying a system online will help you
compare different hardware and provide detailed
information on their performance and specs.
  • You can also build a complete rig by adding parts
to your PC through various websites like Origin
PC, Razer, etc which help you build your own
system by picking and choosing available hardware
    from their website.
  • With different discounts and vast range of
websites online shopping for PC hardware and PC
building is often chosen over offline shopping.

Budget vs High End.
  • You can either build a budget system or complete
ultimate rig to perform all your tasks with ease.
  • A budget PC can include an entry level Intel or
AMD processor like the Ryzen 3, the Intel core i3
or the Intel Pentium processors which dont cost
    much.
  • Supporting the processor while going for a budget
build you can go for a micro or mini atx
motherboard along with 8gb of ram.
  • You can buy a graphics card or choose to use the
on board graphics where you can save big bucks.
You can also buy a graphics card, either a nvidia
    or an AMD card.
  • And if you arent looking for a designer case and
want something basic and dont really want to
show off the inside of your case you can buy a
basic case without a clear glass side panel.

  • On the contrary if you want to build a power
house of a PC and want over kill you will be
looking at the best of best hardware for your
    system.
  • Starting off with Intels i7 or AMDs Ryzen 7
processors which consist of 8 and 12 cores
respectively. Or if you are looking for total
overkill then you can choose from Intels i9 X
series processors or AMDs thread ripper which is
    a beast.
  • With a high end processor you will need a
supporting motherboard and CPU cooling solution
which come in a variety of AIO coolers or Air
    coolers with RGB.
  • You can team this up with over 16gb of ram a m.2
nvme drive for fast boot and faster loading times
    on your games and softwares.
  • And to push all the pixels and get the best
results in gaming you can buy a graphics card
that can out perform any other card in the
    market.
  • In order to match up to the system you build you
will need high end matching peripherals. Buying
the best gaming keyboard, mouse and monitor will
    enhance your gaming experience.
  • Overall in order to have an ultimate rig you will
need to go for the best hardware available.
