  trails for your family to enjoy

• Lakeshore Trail Easy
• Lakeshore Trail is a 2.1 mile hike that features
  wildlife and panoramic views of the lake and
  mountains. This trail hugs the shoreline and is
  known for being relatively flat and is a highly
  recommended option for new hikers.

• Fort Loudoun State Historic Park Trails Easy
• Enjoy a leisurely stroll through woods and
  meadows on this 3.25 mile loop. Multiple trails
  are available and can be sectioned off depending
  on your preference. For example, if you want to
  add on to the Meadow Loop hike, you can continue
  onto Lost Shoe Loop to add an additional half
  mile. Ridgetop Loop entails a little more climb
  than the others but has an amazing view at the
  top. Benches and picnic tables are available
  should you want to enjoy a picnic or enjoy a view
  of the sunrise.

• Tellico Village is known for its community,
  including a multitude of groups to fit almost any
  hobby or interest. One of the local groups in
  called the Ladies Who Hike group. This group of
  women come together to explore their surroundings
  with like-minded individuals who also enjoy
  nature, outdoors, and comradery. With over 200
  ladies, the group hikes average 5-7 miles that
  occur ten times a year.
• Depending on your skill level and love for hiking
  and the outdoors, Tellico Village also has hiking
  groups such as the Muddy Boots and Tellico
  Village Hikers.
