    breast-feeding Not enough is known about the use
    of Milk Thistle during pregnancy and
    breast-feeding. Stay on the safe side and avoid
    use.
  • Allergy Milk Thistle may cause an allergic
    reaction in people who are sensitive to the
    family of plants that include ragweed,
    chrysanthemums, marigolds, daisies, and many
    others. If you have allergies, be sure to check

  • Side Effects Milk thistle appears to be well
    tolerated in recommended doses for up to six
    years. Some patients in studies have experienced
    stomach upset, headache, and itching. There are
    rare reports of appetite loss, gas, heartburn,
    diarrhea, joint pain, nausea and indigestion with
    milk thistle use.
