What Is Hair Transplant?
Hair transplant is the surgical procedure that

Methods For Hair Transplant
Basically for hair transplant there are two
methods Follicular unit extraction
(FUE)method Follicular unit transplant(FUT)
method FUE method is the advanced method of hair
restoration in this method hair follicles are
extracted individually from the donor area and
shifted in the recipient area one by one FUT
method is the traditional method also known as
the strip method in which hair follicles are
extracted in the form of strip from the back head
and then dissected in the form of natural
grouping before the transplantation.

Pre Operative Step
This step is quite crucial for the success of FUE
surgery as in the initial consultation surgeon or
the experts take the important information
related to the Family history of patient Medical
history Age Health examine Reason for hair
loss Extent of baldness Expectations of patient
After this step information collected and the
reports of digital scalp analysis are studied to
consider the each hair issue and to determine the
eligibility of patient for FUE method. On the
basis of prior information and scalp analysis
donor area is selected and patient is given with
the estimation of after results and chances of
success and failure if any. Even during this
meeting estimation for cost of FUE surgery is
also given to patient for the transparency in the
treatment

Extraction Process
After the initial consultation with the surgeon
patient is asked to visit center for the surgery.
In the morning patients head is shaved and
washed with the antibiotics. Before the
extraction process local anesthesia has been
applied for the painless and comfortable
surgery. With the micro punches of diameter less
than 1 mm hair follicles are extracted one by one
from the donor area without damaging the hair
tissue and the scalp. Extraction process leaves
the tiny holes that get healed in few days and
become invisible generally

Grafts Perseverance
After the extraction of hair follicles according
to the requirement of the grafts to cover the
bald area the grafts are preserved in the moist
and cool conditions so that these can survive for
lifetime after the transplantation. Even Dr.
K.K.Arora takes care about the minimum time gap
between the extraction and transplantation
process so that grafts need not to be kept for
longer time outside body as the longer time gap
can affect the survival of grafts adversely.

Recipient Area Preparation
Patients scalp is carefully examined to know
about the direction, depth, distance and angle of
existing hair so that new hair can be
transplanted in the same way for natural
appearance. Bald area is designed and marks up
generally with the slits so that exact match can
be given to patient after surgery. For the
natural appearance of hair there is great need of
the experience and skill of the surgeon as only
the experienced and efficient surgeon can
cultivate the new hair in the natural manner

Transplantation
In this last but not least step of surgical
procedure fine needle is used to create the tiny
holes or incisions and then according to the
pattern and density of existing hair, new hairs
are cultivated so that after surgery patient can
have undetectable results. This step is also done
under the local anesthesia and even entire
surgery is safe and painless

Post Operative Care And Instructions
It is the post surgical step in which after the
surgery senior surgeon provide some written and
oral instructions to the patient for the care of
transplanted hair that can add to the life of
hair. Patient is even asked to visit again in
the morning to center for hygienic and preventive
head bath in which team of experts provide the
gentle wash to transplanted hair and even the
same hair wash kit is provided to the patient for
regular hair wash at least for 10 days as after
that patient can wash hair in normal routine with
the normal shampoo.

Satyam FUE Results
Follicular unit extraction method is quite safe
and non invasive method so there is great
tendency of attaining the desirable
results. After the surgery patient may feel
swelling and redness in the donor area but it
gets healed in 3-4 days and even on 3rd day
patient can get back to his work. From the
initial days after surgery hair start growing
gradually but in 3-4 weeks these hair starts
shedding which is quite normal and called shock
loss. After 6 weeks new hair start growing
naturally and patient can get 70 hair growth in
6 months and within one year patient can witness
his head full of natural hair that survive for
the entire life.
