4IEC registration process?
- An application must be made in the (ANF 2A) i.e.
Aayaat Niryaat Form 2A format to the regional
department of the DGFT in that region where the
registered office of the company is established. - The DGFT has arranged online filing facility for
obtaining IEC. - Details of the business and its proprietors,
directors or partners, bank account details and a
bank certificate are the basic requirements of
ANF 2A. - The most important thing is to be kept in mind
that the Permanent Account Number (PAN) is
mandatory for grant of an IEC. - Only one IEC can be allotted against a single
PAN. - The IEC must be valid for all the factories or
branches of the Importer/Exporter. - Applications which are complete in all respects
are generally disposed of within 2-3 days.

- For Proprietorship
- Personal PAN Card
- Residential address, Phone number, Pin code,
Fathers Name - There is no requirement for Memorandum or
Articles of association. - Statement of any National/ International Bank.
- Bank certificate as per attached Annexure.
- 4 Passport size photos
- 2 Companys Letter head
- Phone number and email ID
- Date of formation of company as per PAN card
6- For Partnership
- Companys PAN Card
- Residential address, Pin code and Phone number on
letter head - Partnership deed- duly notarized, copy duly
self-certified. - Statement of any National/ International Bank.
- Bank certificate as per attached Annexure.
- 4 Passport size photographs with any one of
signing authority - 2 Companys Letter head
- Phone number and email ID
- Date of formation of company as per Deed
agreement
7- For Private Ltd./ Ltd.
- Companys PAN Card
- List of directors with residential address, Pin
code and phone number on letter head - Memorandum and articles of association
- Statement of any National/ International Bank
- Bank certificate as per attached Annexure
- 4 Passport size photographs (any one of signing
authority with mobile number) - 2 Companys Letter head
- Phone number and email I
- Date of formation of company as registrar of
companies
