CDIO Academy

• Conceive and Design only
• Should not interfere with student involvement
• Both steps spread out over two days half-day
  sessions
• Multi-disciplinary
• Limited by time constraints so that both phases
  can be accomplished

Future Communication

• Created a Facebook group
• Webpage and Facebook group should have constant
  student moderation
• Evaluate communication throughout year at each
  conference
• Evaluate student perspective at each school
  bring the results to next conference

Thoughts on International CDIO Conferences

• More student representation at each conference
• One student from the host school to represent
  students (standard 12)
• Students change annually
• ?provide one coordinator that is committed to
  CDIO (professor?)
• Present CDIO Academy progress each day, and
  students thoughts
• Enjoyed the student discussion panel good way to
  incorporate students (Thanks Prof. de Weck!)

• Students represent CDIO differently
• Manual or introduction of students from different
  cultures and theyre roles
• Programs are different internationally (years,
  requirements, etc)
• Show differences before conference
