MISR Terminology

• MISR orbits the earth 15 times/day.
• Orbit numbers indicate the number of revolutions
  since launch.
• 233 distinct orbit paths repeated every 16 days.
  
• Each of these 16 days is referred to as a Data
  Day.
• The 233 repeating orbits are called paths.
• Each path is divided into 180 blocks.
• Paths overlap allowing near global coverage in 9
  days.
