Title: essential business briefing:

1
  • What is the briefing about?
  • In February 2002, the Government published a
    Green Paper entitled 14-19 extending
opportunities, raising standards, setting out the
proposals for a coherent phase of education and
training for 14 to 19 year olds. Following a
three month consultation process, the Department
for Education and Skills produced a response,
14-19 opportunity and excellence, published in
January 2003. The implications of these proposed
reforms are far-reaching and this briefing will
be highly relevant to the business world, due to
their impact on society and the workplace.
