  • S9.46 No acknowledgement of receipt of
    coordination data
  • S9.60 No decision or relevant information within
    4 months

ASSISTANCE (S9.46) No acknowledgement of
coordination request

No acknowledgement of coordination data received
by Administration A within 30 days from the date
of request
  • Administration A sends a telegram requesting
    immediate confirmation.
  • If no reply is received in the next 15 days
    Administration A can request the Assistance of
    the Bureau
  • The Bureau requests Administration B for
    Immediate acknowledgement
  • Bureau forwards any response to Administration A
    for further action in completing coordination

Bureau Applies S9.47 - S9.49
If no reply is received from Administration B
Within 30 days of Bureaus action the Bureau
applies S9.47 to S9.49
  • No complaint will be made in respect of any
    harmful
  • interference affecting its own assignments
    which
  • may be caused by the assignment for which
  • coordination was requested.
  • The use of its own assignments will not cause
  • harmful interference to the assignment for
    which
  • coordination was requested.

ASSISTANCE (S9.60) No Decision or relevant
information

Administration B has to give either decision or
relevant information within 4 months from the
date of request (S9.52)
  • Administration A seeks the Assistance of the
    Bureau (S9.60)
  • The Bureau requests Administration B for early
    decision or provide the relevant information
    (S9.61)
  • Bureau forwards any response to Administration A
    for further action in completing coordination
  • If the Administration B fails to reply within 30
    days of Bureaus action the provisions of S9.48
    and S9.49 will be applied by the Bureau

Bureau Applies S9.48 - S9.49
Bureau communicates application of S9.48 and
S9.49 to all concerned administrations under
which Administration B Is deemed to have
undertaken that
  • No complaint will be made in respect of any
    harmful
  • interference affecting its own assignments
    which
  • may be caused by the assignment for which
  • coordination was requested.
  • The use of its own assignments will not cause
  • harmful interference to the assignment for
    which
  • coordination was requested.

ASSISTANCE (S9.33)

Direct communication not possible
  • If Administration A is unable to act under S9.29,
    it shall seek the assistance of the Bureau.
  • Bureau shall then send the request for
    coordination to the Administration B and
  • Take any further necessary actions under
    S9.45-S9.46 as appropriate

Special Assistance (S7.6)
  • An administration in need of special assistance
    may request the Bureau under the provisions of
    S7.6
  • Results of ApS8 analysis
  • Preparation of the coordination contour
  • Clarification of Rules of Procedure
  • Any other requirement of technical nature

ASSISTANCE (S9.63)

CONTINUED DISAGREEMENT
  • Bureaus examination under S11.32A may be sought
  • by either of the administrations involved in the
    coordination process or
  • when administrations involved are unable to
    agree on coordination of the network after
    following the requirement of coordination process
    and there is continuing disagreement.

ASSISTANCE (S9.63)

CONTINUED DISAGREEMENT
  • The Bureau assesses the interference as provided
    in PART B, Section B3 of Rules of Procedure, for
    which the administrations concerned have to
    provide information in addition to that provided
    under Appendix S4 such as
  • agreed criteria for the acceptable interference
  • Modulation characteristics and
  • Set of test points defining the service area
  • Recommendation ITU-R S.741 is used with respect
    to coordination of the networks under S9.7 and
    the conclusions are communicated
