Dear Santa, I have been a very good boy this

sister a few times. I did my homework and went
to bed on time. I would like a bike for

The Battle of the Alamo (February 23  March 6,
1836) was a pivotal event in the Texas
Revolution. Following a 13-day siege, Mexican
troops under President General Antonio López de
Santa Anna launched an assault on the Alamo
Mission near San Antonio de Béxar (modern-day San
Antonio, Texas). All but two of the Texian
defenders were killed. Santa Anna's perceived
cruelty during the battle inspired many
Texiansboth Texas settlers and adventurers from
the United Statesto join the Texian Army. Buoyed
by a desire for revenge, the Texians defeated the
Mexican Army at the Battle of San Jacinto, on
April 21, 1836, ending the revolution.

Once upon a time there was a beautiful
princess named BriAnn. She lived happily in her
cabin, until an evil goblin came and kidnapped
her. She screamed in panic and hoped for a prince
to save her. Then she got a grip and realized she
didnt need a prince! So, she yanked the goblins
orange curly hair and tied it to a pole. She
escaped just in the knick of time. Nobody ever
messed with her again! )

Crockett grew up in East Tennessee, where he
gained a reputation for hunting and storytelling.
After being elected to the rank of colonel in the
militia of Lawrence County, Tennessee, he was
elected to the Tennessee state legislature in
1821. In 1826, Crockett was elected to the U.S.
House of Representatives. Congressman Crockett
vehemently opposed many of the policies of
President Andrew Jackson, most notably the Indian
Removal Act. Crockett's opposition to Jackson's
policies led to his defeat in the 1834 elections,
prompting his angry departure to Texas shortly
thereafter. In early 1836, Crockett took part in
the Texas Revolution and was killed at the Battle
of the Alamo in March.

I bought our cat a jetpack which I think she
liked a lot. She strapped it on and instantly she
took off like a shot. She zoomed around my
bedroom then she blasted down the hall. She
ricocheted off every piece of furniture and wall.
Our dog freaked out and ran away.
Our hamster squeaked and fled. I even saw my
sister hiding underneath her bed. Our cat is so
fired up I almost hate to break the news She'll
never catch our mouse I bought him rocket
powered shoes. --Kenn Nesbitt
