1. Today, we are going to explore the caves, to
see sites weve never seen before. 2. We have
already learned facts about bats, information
about what they eat and how they live. 3. Thats
how we know to be very quiet we dont want to
disturb the bats, and bother them. 4. Ive only
seen bats at the zoo before, so Im excited to
see them living in nature for the first time. 5.
Now, we are looking for rocks and other objects
that are found in caves where bats live. 6. I
want to collect several rocks, so I will have

Birds
Bats and birds seem a lot alike. They both have
wings, fly, and live in similar places. But they
have big differences. Most strikingly, bats are
mammals,like humans, while birds belong to the
bird family. Also, while bats are furry, birds
have feathers. They even use a branch differently-
birds perch upright, while bats hang upside down.
