  the needle

• Accuracy merely depends on the surgeons skill
• Failed insertion attempts lead to long procedure

• Patients and surgeons are exposed to unnecessary
  radiation

• Develop new phantoms for use testing and
  evaluation of the existing MRI Image Overlay
  System
• Determine accuracy using the overlay on phantom
  and pig and/or human cadavers
• Perform accuracy studies with the image overlay
  with clinicians

  method with other techniques
