WHAT IS BORER

• Wood Borer beetles are dark brown/black in color,
  4 -5mm long.
• You will not be able to notice when beetles
  enters in your house , but you will notice the
  holes in the surface of wooden furniture, doors,
  windows and door frames etc.
• Beetle After 2-3 years spending time inside and
  tunneling wood will exit as the adult beetle via
  a round hole (approx 2 mm in diameter). this is
  the final destroying act after this they will be
  dead in 3 to 4 week. But as this is structured
  cycle. the eggs of beetles are still available
  and destruction of wood will keep going.

PROCESS

• Wooden treatment to remove borer is almost same
  for which ever species of beetle is available.
• Treat any infected wood with insecticides (
  Biflex ) with a appropriate mixture of kerosene
  oil .and penetrate deep into the timber it will
  kill Beetle and its egg also.
• Insecticides which is used with a mixture of
  kerosene will leave a solvent smell for some days
  and Ventilation will help to dissipate the odour.
• There are Some Areas where the smell would be
  unacceptable there are water based options but
  these do not penetrate as deeply and will not
  give as good long term control.
• The treatment for wood borer should be done
  at-least 2 or 3 time in repetition after a time
  gape of at-least 1 month for better results.
