The Copenhagen process
  • The Copenhagen process priority to quality
    assurance in VET and the training of teachers and
    trainers

    methods, as well as common criteria and
    principles for quality in vocational education
    and training

Copenhagen and Group A
  • The Copenhagen priority of identifying the
    learning needs of teachers and trainers in a
    quality assurance framework will be addressed by
    the Expert Group on Improving the Education of
    teachers and trainers (Group A)

The Commissions request to TTnet
  • The Commission has asked TTnet to focus its
    activities in the field of quality on the
    following aspects
  • a) the definition of common core criteria and
    methods for identifying the learning needs of VET
    teachers and trainers
  • b) the identification of common quality criteria
    for the qualification of teachers and trainers in
    different learning environments, with particular
    reference to tutors in apprenticeship systems
