Start Registration Process

Begin Registration

• Start without an account
• Activate the Register button
• Create one account for your company
• Even large companies create one account
• Email address of the person who will manage kudu
  (depends on the company)

Registration Confirmation

• Kudu will send you confirmation email
• Click on the URL in the email to activate your
  account
• Return to Kudu
• Select your company from login pulldown
• Enter password and login

• Fill in Company Information
• Activate Update button

• Do this before you add contact names

Register System Name

• Enter information that describes your system
• If you are a DICOM modality, include the type in
  your System Keyword (MOD_GE_CT)
• Check off any demonstration where you will
  participate. Not all systems choose to
  participate in demos

Adding Dependent Actors

• Kudu will list other actors that are requirements
  in profiles
• You are required to register/test these other
  actors
• The data in Kudu is not perfect. You need to
  check the requirements in the Technical Frameworks

US HITSP Notes

• In the US, HITSP uses terminology similar to IHE
  profiles
• We have added a domain called US HITSP that can
  be used for the Chicago 2008 Connectathon
• You can register for specific HITSP components or
  for generic HITSP testing using IHE profiles

Actor / Profile Overload

• Some organizations try to register too many
  actor/profile pairs on a single system
• Could be overly ambitious
• Could be trying to get around connectathon fee
  structure
• Sponsors will review your registration and ask
  you to change registration if your system is
  overloaded
