• Raised in Barcelona
• Father was a Goldsmith and Watchmaker
• Wanted him to pursue a career in business

• Began in business with aim of becoming a

• Pursued fine arts classes at La Escuela de la
  Lonja in Barcelona (1907-1910)
  
• Studied Privately with Francese D A. Gali
