9So how do we pay for this?
- Trails End Popcorn is our only fundraiser for
the entire year
- Your boy receives Commission into his own Scout
Account
- The unit receives Commission (Registration/Insur
ance, Boys Life)
- Council receives Commission for camp
improvements, district activities, unit service
- Popcorn sales in October/November
- Well known product
- Easy to sell
- Show Deliver door to door with product on-hand
- Family, friends, co-workers, and others
- Show Sell at local stores
10Per Scout Sales Goal(Example)
- To cover costs for this Scouting year, the sales
goal for each Scout is a minimum of 500 worth of
popcorn
- BUT DONT STOP THERE!
- Trails End offers prizes and incentives for
sales
- Special prize for 1000 worth of sales
- Scholarship money for 2000 worth of sales
- Can be applied towards college tuition, books,
fees
- 6 of sales plus interest accrued each year

- For selling 2,000 a Scout receives
- 1000 (50 commission) into his Scout Account
- 120 (6 of sales) into a Scholarship fund to
applied towards college tuition, book, fees
- 180 in Wal-Mart gift cards
- Total Earned 1,300

equipment, Scout shop merchandise, uniforms,
