• Towering peaks ,rocky canyons flowering cacti.
• Guadalupe peak, highest point in Texas 8,749 feet
  high.
• Dry, rocky, soil.

• The cap rock escarpment separates the great
  plains and the central plains.
• The great plain region is high flat grass land.

• The largest of the 4 Regions, is one-third of the
  state, it runs along the Gulf of Mexico reaches
  inland, away from the coast, about 250 miles

• Stretches from Port Arthur to corpus Christi
• There are slow moving streams called bayous
• Dry and thorny bushes
• There are farming, industry, and ranching
