UCLA Retail Dining Program
  • THE DINING COMMON CAFÉ
  • It seats up to 454 guests in an 8,000 square food
    dining space
  • Servery Stations
  • Grill pizza and pasta El Pollo Loco
    platform cooking the deli and soup and salad
    bar.
  • Guests that are pressed for time can enjoy meals
    on the run that include freshly rolled sushi,
    tasty kosher meals, Grab and Go Deli Sandwiches
    and Salads
  • Starbucks Coffee and an Espresso cart will be
    available
  • THE DELI a new addition
  • It will be located on the A level near the
    conference rooms

Signature Dining Patient Room Service
  • SIGNATURE DINING
  • Specially designed menu and service
  • Meals may be ordered anytime between 700 a.m.
    and 700 p.m.
  • Breakfast items may be ordered during this entire
    time
  • Lunch and dinner items may be ordered between
    1100 a.m. and 700 p.m.
  • The menu provides over 30 entrée selections,
    including many vegetarian options, and several
    Vegan dishes
  • There are a variety of Heart-Healthy Choices and
    no fried foods on our menu
  • FOOD SERVICE AMBASSADOR
  • Visit each patient after admission
  • The menu includes food items based on their diet
    order
  • The Ambassador explains the meal order process
    and determines if the patient will need any
    assistance
  • Any assistance needs are recorded to ensure
    assistance is given each meal

Signature Dining Patient Room Service
  • The patient dials a specific room service number
    to place his order
  • A receptionist takes his order, enters it into a
    computer and prints it to the kitchen
  • The cooks and assembly staff members prepare the
    tray and food items
  • The tray is placed on a unit specific cart and
    delivered to the unit
  • The Ambassador is notified of the cart delivery
    and meets it at the elevator
  • The trays are then delivered personally by the
    Ambassador who offers to help patients, if needed
  • Delivery of the meal is guaranteed within 45
    minutes
  • At the end of each meal period any patient who
    has not called to order a meal is visited by an
    ambassador who will take his meal order
  • Premium Service Menu specific is available at the
    patients request
  • Same type of Room Service as patients receiving
    the Signature Dining Menu will apply
