School held a Gatsby Murder Mystery Ball to
determine who killled Jay Gatsby, the main
character in the novel The Great Gatsby by F.
Scott Fitzgerald. They invited the 3rd Grade and
family and friends to the Ball

9One by one the Suspects explained where they
were when Jay Gatsby was shot in the library of
his mansionand why it wasnt them
Nick Carroway Jay Gatsbys best friend who is
first to find the body.
10Jordan Baker Nick Carroways girlfriend and
golf player known for cheating.
11Daisy Buchanan the love of Gatsbys life She
drove the car that hit Myrtle Wilson but Gatsby
took the blame.
12Tom Buchanan Daisys husband who admits to
hating Jay Gatsby for trying to steal his wife
Daisy.
13George Wilson George believes his wife,
Myrtle, is having an affair with Gatsby, and that
Gatsby accidentally hit Myrtle with his car and
left her for dead.
14Catherine A recovering Alcoholic, she is
angry at Gatsby because she believes he hurt her
sister Myrtle.
15Myrtle Wilson Gatsby took the blame for
hitting her with his car. She does not know it
was Daisy who was driving.

17Myer Wolfsheim Gatsbys bootlegging business
partner. He has teeth for cufflinks and they are
found near Gatsbys body.
18Owl Eyes He is present at the time of
Gatsbys death and his glasses are missing.
19Mr. Gatz He is Jay Gatsbys estranged father.
His wallet is missing and then found near the
body.
20The Neighbor Heard the gun shot.
21Triplets The police interview the triplets,
one of whom is in love with Jay Gatsby. Her shoe
is missing and was found in the library.

clues and interview the suspects
