Reward points Magento Extension enables the

Overview
Now you can greatly improve your Magento
Community Edition store's functionality. With
the Rewards Points Magento extension, you get the
expanded and improved reward points system which
allows you to award your customers for their
"good" behavior buying products in your store,
inviting their friends, etc. Our new Magento
module offers the points and rewards system
implemented as well as the referral program. With
Rewards extension, you get one of the most
powerful solutions for enhancing customers'
loyalty, improving user experience, and
increasing sales rates. The extension is easy to
install and use. The Reward points Extension is
Lightweight, fulfills the task with minimum
obstruction and is in line with the Magento
Standard Work flow.

Points Rewards Configuration The Points
Rewards extension can be easily configured in the
way you need on the System ? Configuration
?Brainvire ? Points Rewards ? General backend
page (or Promotions ? Points and Rewards ?
Configuration).

8First Tab GeneralTab
9- Select Yes, in the Enable field. - Specify
the point unit name, which will be displayed on
the Customer Account page as well as in the
shopping cart. - The Enable rewards history
field allows customers to track the earned points
on their Account page. -
according to admin-specified rates if rule
condition is matched and the rule is applied. -
Specify the minimum reward points balance
available to redeem, or leave this field blank
to avoid limitation. - Specify the maximum
available points balance, or leave this field
blank to avoid limitation. - Set up the reward
points expiration day in the corresponding field,
or leave it blank to disable the option.
- In the Amount available for paying at
checkout by points, field, specify the percent
of the product price that customers can pay
for a product with points. - If any reference
page is selected in the Info Page field,
customers will see the learn more link in
their account.
10- Second Tab Earning Points Tab
- In the Earning Points tab, you can set up the
amount of points earned by customer for
different actions. - In the Registration
field, enter the number of points given for user
registration. - In the Newsletter signup field,
specify the number of points given for signing up
for a newsletter.
11- Specify whether points will be earned if a
customer is subscribed by admin in the Consider
newsletter subscription by admin field. - In
the Reviewing product field, specify the number
of points given for posting a review. - Define
the maximum amount of points earned per day for
reviewing products, or leave this field blank
to avoid limitation. - If you want to reward
only those customers who made the purchase,
select Yes in the Only those who purchased
product can gain points field. - In the Tagging
product field, enter the number of points given
for tagging a product. - Specify the maximum
amount of points earned per day for tagging a
product, or leave this field blank to avoid
limitation. - In the Participating in poll
field, define the number of points given for
taking part in polls. - Enter the maximum amount
of points earned per day for participating in a
poll, or leave this field blank to avoid
limitation.
Third Tab Referral system Tab
- The Rewards extension offers the built-in
referral system with flexible settings, so that
you can reward your customers for inviting
their friends as well as for their referral
purchases.
12- select Yes, in the Enable referral system
field. - Specify the amount of points given for
inviting a friend in the Points for inviting a
friend field. - In the Day limit for points for
inviting a friend field, limit the number of
days, within which the customer can gain
points for inviting a friend. You can leave this
field blank to avoid
limitation. - Select whether the customer gets
points for each referrals order or for the first
order only in the Points awarded to customers
for their referrals purchases field. - Specify
the fixed amount of points given to customers for
their referrals purchases. - Specify the
percentage from the purchase sum given to
customers for their referrals
orders.
13Fourth Tab Notifications Tab
- The Rewards extension allows customers to
receive email notifications about balance
update, points expiration, and invitation.
14- Select Yes in the Enable notifications
field. - In the Sender field, specify the name
shown in the "From" field in the email sent to
customers. - Select Yes if you
want an email to be automatically sent to the
customer whose points expire in
several days. - Specify the number of days for
a notification to be sent before points expire in
the Email sending before points expiring (in
days) field. - Click the Save Config button.
Fifth Tab Advanced Tab
- If you want to set up all customers' points
balance to 0, click the Reset all transactions
button.
- To give the customer an ability to earn and
spend money while buying orders, you should
configure earn and spend rates at Promotions ?
Rewards ? Points Rates.
15Earning Points
- If earning rates are set up, customers can
gain points for their purchases according to
admin-specified rates. After an order has been
completed, a certain amount of points is
added to the customer's points balance.
- To create a new rate, go to Promotions ?
Rewards ? Points Rates ? Earn Rate and click
the Add New button. - On the Add Rate page,
select websites and customer groups the rate will
be applied to. - Set up the exchange rate in the
Rate line. - you can use decimal numerals
(99.99) while setting up the exchange rate.
Reward points, however,should be whole numbers
only. - Click the Save Rule button.

17Spending Points
- Customers can spend their reward points while
paying for their orders.
- To create a new rate, go to Promotions ?
Rewards ? Points Rates ? Spend Rate and
click the Add New button. - On the Add Rate
page, select websites and customer groups the
rate will be applied to. - Set up the exchange
rate in the Rate line. - use only whole numbers
in the Reward Points field. - Click the Save
Rule button.
18Rewards Rules
- You can set up the Points Rewards rules to
award reward points to customers for
purchasing a certain product or product quantity.
The customer will gain points after the order
has been completed. - Go to Promotions ?
Rewards ? Reward Rules to create a new rule and
see the list of all the Rewards rules.
19Creating a New Rule
- Flexible Points Rewards rules allow your
customers to earn different number of points
while buying products from various categories,
with certain SKU, price, or any other item
attribute. - Go to the Promotions ? Rewards ?
Reward Rules page in the backend. - Click the
Add New button to create a new rule. - Enter the
Rule Title (required) and its Description
(optional). - In the Websites field, select the
websites where the rule will be applied to. - In
the Customer Groups field, define the customer
group(s) this rule will be applied to.
- Set up the time period when the rule is
active. If you leave the date range empty, the
rule will be enabled as soon as it is saved
with the Active status. - In the Status
field, select Active. - If you have several
rules, you are able to stop further rules
processing. - If you have multiple rules, set
up the rule priority.

21Conditions
- The rule will be applied only if your
conditions are met. You can create as many
conditions as you like. - In this guide, we
create one condition as an example Items
quantity equals or greater than 10.
Actions
22Related Blocks
You can define the static block(s) displayed on
the Cart page when the rule is met.
Reward Points Redeem
- Registered users can see the reward points
balance information as well as the
transactions history from their Account
Dashboard where additional Reward Points tab
appears.
23If the customer has points and its amount is more
than minimum reward points balance available to
redeem (System ? Configuration ? Rewards ?
Minimum reward points balance to be available to
redeem), an additional Use my Reward point(s)
checkbox and input for points appear. The
customer can spend the whole amount of points
available or part of them at the Checkout page
in the Payment Information section.
24Adding/Reducing Points by Administrator
- The Magento Points Rewards module allows the
administrator to manage the points
balance of every customer from the back end.
25Massive Points Update
- The administrator can select/unselect customers
massively in the Transactions grid. - Go to
Promotions ? Rewards ? Transactions. Here you can
see the list of transactions for the whole
store.
26 click the Add New button, to add a transaction
to change customers balance. - Select a
customer(s). - Insert the comment and specify
the amount of points you want to add or subtract.
Type in - positive (10) or negative number (-10)
in the Points Balance Change field to enlarge or
reduce - customers points balance. -
Save the transaction.
Individual Points Upgrade
- The Points Rewards Magento module adds its
own tab on the Customer Information page
in the backend. Thus you can either enlarge or
reduce the points balance of every customer
on individual basis.
- Go to Customers ? Manage Customers to see the
whole list of customers. - Find the customer you
want to add/subtract points and go to the Reward
points tab on the Customer Information page. -
The first section shows customers current
balance. - The Reward Points History tab
displays when, what for and how much points the
customer gained. - To update
the customers points balance, enter positive or
negative number in the Update
Points field. - You can leave a comment for the
customer. - You can manage the customers
subscriptions for balance update emails and
expiration notifications in the Reward Points
Notification section.

28Rewards Coupons
- The Points Rewards extension allows you to
create special coupons with additional
amount of points. Tell, send or place this
coupon code on the website, so that customers
can get extra points just after entering the
coupon code on the Reward Points page.
29- To create a new coupon, go to the Promotions
? Rewards ? Coupons backend page and click
the Add New Coupon button. - In the Coupon Name
field, specify the name of the coupon. -
Specify the description of the coupon. - Enter
the coupon code.
- Choose websites where the coupon will be
active. - In the Customer Groups field, choose
the groups of customers who can use the coupon. -
Specify the period of time when the coupon will
be available. - Set the Status field to
Active. - In the Points Amount field, specify
the amount of points which will be added to
customers balance after coupon
applying. - In the Uses per Coupon field,
specify how many times the coupon can be used. -
Click the Save button.
30To view all coupons, go to the Promotions ?
Rewards ? Coupons backend page.
31 - To delete the coupon, select Delete in the
Action field of the required coupon (or tick off
the required coupons, select Delete in the
Actions field and click the Submit button) -
Click the required coupon to view it. Here you
can change all the information about the
coupon (except the quantity of the coupon
usage in the Activation Count field).
32- In the Transactions section, you can find the
information about customers who have used
the coupon.
