• To demonstrate how the use of moulage and props
  adds to the realism of simulation
• By the end of the workshop delegates will be able
  to demonstrate some moulage techniques

What is moulage?

• French for casting/ moulding
• Representation of anatomical structures in wax
  18th century Renaissance
• Art of applying mock injuries
• Pre-made rubber or latex wounds
• Simulation makeup
• Blood, vomit, burns, open fractures etc
