Why Worry About Controlling Forest Disorders?
  • Insects kill more trees than does fire.
  • It is estimated that we lose 3 billion cubic feet
    of timber per year in the south as a result of
    insects and diseases.
  • Insects and diseases affect trees in all stages
    of development.
