  the pinna
• Then approaches the ear drum where it is converts
  into mechanical energy (outer ear)

• The mallus, stapes, and incuse mechanically
  stimulate the oval window
• The oval window coverts the energy into the next
  form

• The oval window begins hydraulic energy to
  stimulate the fluids within the cochlea
• The inner hairs of the cochlea transfer energy in
  its final form

• The inner hairs of the cochlea send sound
  information to the brain through nerves in the
  form of electronic energy
