elections for the next plan year.
  • Ordinarily these are changes you can not make at
any other time in the year unless you experience
a change in family circumstance (e.g., marriage,
    divorce, birth, adoption, etc.)

3
Online Open Enrollment
  • With the exception of Flexible Spending Accounts
(FSAs), all of your benefit options for this year
will automatically carry over to next year
  • NO ACTION IS REQUIRED IF
  • You do not want to change any of your benefit
    options AND
  • You do not want to make any pre-tax contributions
to a FSA (for health expenses or dependent care)

36
What should I do if I receive warnings or errors?
37
Warnings and Errors
  • After you click the Submit button, the system may
alert you that there are warnings and/or errors
    associated with your submitted changes.

38
Warnings and Errors
  • Most warnings are reminders that some type of
proof or documentation will be required before
    your coverage will take effect.
  • This is the symbol displayed for a
    warning.
  • You may choose to ignore warnings and finish
    submitting your changes.

39
Warnings and Errors
  • Any errors detected by the system must be
corrected before you can submit your changes to
    the Benefits department.
  • This is the symbol displayed for an
    error.
  • Click on the Return button to go back and

Warnings and Errors
  • You can choose
  • Not to enroll your dependents in this plan by

enroll yourself in the MetLife Employee Optional
