Project Lead The Way (PLTW) is a not-for-profit
organization that promotes pre-engineering
courses for high school students. PLTW forms
partnerships with public schools and higher
education institutions to increase the quantity
and quality of graduating engineers and
engineering technologists.

• Present an introductory overview of design as a
  creative process.
• Introduce design trade-offs by having students
  perform a range of design activities.
• Review basic graphical presentation skills.
• Prepare students for a more advanced design
  experience
