Boy Scout Aquatic and Nature Day Camp

The aquatic merit badges available are
Small-boat sailing, Water sports, Motorboating,
Canoeing, Rowing, Fishing, and Kayaking BSA.

Nature merit badges offered include
Environmental science, Reptile and amphibian
study, Insect study, Nature, Fish wildlife
management, Soil water conservation, Geology,
Archaeology, Weather, Energy, First aid and
Cooking.

At the Desert Outdoor Center, boys will receive
the skills and knowledge they need in a safe
environment as access to the boat dock is
restricted.

Our experienced staff are eager to share
their knowledge and expertise with the scouts so
they are successful!

The Desert Outdoor Center has programs for
everyone!

Summer Camp Sessions
Camp is held Monday Thursday Five sessions
are offered every summer beginning the first
full week of June. Bus transportation is
availablefrom Mesa, Tempe, Scottsdale, Avondale,
Peoria and North Phoenix.
Hours Monday - Thursday 800 a.m. to 4 p.m.
