• Delivery of your cake should be in the hands of
  the baker. You could have someone pick it up, but
  once it leaves the bakery with someone else, its
  no longer the bakerys responsibility. If the
  bakery delivers it, then its less of a hassle
  for you. So let the baker know which one of the
  wedding reception venues you chose to have the
  reception. Then they can contact the reception
  venue to set up the delivery time on the day of
  the wedding.

• After the cake tasting is done and youve made
  your decision, then a contract needs to be drawn
  up between you and the bakery. The contract
  should include the wedding date, time and
  location of the delivery. A sketch of your cake
  with  description should be included. It should
  state what flavor the cake is going to be, the
  shape chosen for the cake and the number of
  people it will it feed. It should have your
  deposit, balance owed information and date due
  by. The contract should also state what items and
  services the bakery will be providing. If you
  decide to use fresh flowers, you need to decide
  if the bakery will place them on the cake or if
  the florist will.
