Where we were, without God

• Dead in trespasses and sins.
• Shows the area of our death.
• Trespasses are the acts of wrong. Overstepping
  the boundaries set by God.
• Sins refers to a way of life that misses the mark
  of what God wants our life to be
• This is the way you walked according to the
  course of this world, according to the prince of
  the power of the air.

A VIEW OF SPIRITUAL DEATH

• A Spirit of disobedience.
• Live by lusts of the flesh
• Indulging the desires of the flesh and mind.
• Were by nature the children of wrath. Anger has
  become a way of life. It overtakes the heart and
  mind.

GODS ACTIONS FROM LOVE

• He is rich in mercy from great love, even when we
  were dead in sin.
• By His grace He made us alive together with
  Christ.
• He raised us up with Him, seated us with Him in
  the heavenly places in Christ.
• So that in ages to come He might show the
  surpassing riches of His grace to us.

BY GRACE WE ARE SAVED

• It is never out of our goodness or what we earn
  that we are saved. God shows His favor in giving
  what we need.
• Gods grace comes to us through our faith.
• Salvation is a gift from God.
• It is not something for us to boast about.
• Titus 33-7

HOW THEN SHOULD WE LIVE

• Knowing we are saved by grace should develop in
  us a deep sense of gratitude.
• It should develop in us a spirit of grace toward
  others.
• It should let us know that no one it out side the
  realm of Gods love and desire to save.
• It should lead us to talk about His goodness and
  kindness to others.
