- Use the same form as in dividing 2 whole numbers
- Multiply both divisor and dividend by a power of
10 (move the decimal point) that makes the
divisor a whole number. - Divide as you would with whole numbers, and place
the decimal point in the quotient directly above
the decimal point in the dividend.
