INTRODUCTION
  • As the other developing countries, the
    epidemiological situation of Djibouti is
    dominated by the transferable illnesses.
  • The piecemeal data available to the level of the
    health Ministry indicate a predominance among the
    reasons of morbidity and mortality in Republic of
    Djibouti of the transferable illnesses of which
    malaria, TB and HIV.

In term we estimate population to risk that for

  • Of this fact, have been achieved during this
    year, the activities suivantes 
  • Anti-larvaire  struggle the chemical treatment
    of the larval lodgings, mechanical destruction of
    the site in collaboration with the Community, use
    of the fish larvivores in the " agricoles zones.

  • Among the strategies of the program, the
    promotion of the ITN is an essential point for a
    better prevention against the epidemic.
  • To this effect, one kept a distribution by the
    associations, by the mobile team of every
    district, in the PCIME services, in the health of
    reproduction, in the sites of the BDN project and
    by EPI.
  • For the execution of the proximity activities,
    the associations have bee identifed by the
    malaria program. However, a information workshop
    on malaria for NGOs was held and from this
    workshop the NGOs refined their activities in
    struggle against the malaria.

  • These associations elaborated plans of action
    with their essential activities and for the
    distribution of ITN they should achieve a
    cartography of their zone to know the number of
    household, of pregnant women, of under five
    children, the number of well, of agricultural
    zones
  • The distribution of ITN started with the certain
    village.The other zones to identified risk go on
    their turn to benefit from the ITN.
  • The program also follows the activities of
    pulverization that are held country-wide while
    giving the priority in the endemic zone.
