2Dr. Mari Madsen specializes in laparoscopy for
the treatment of colon and rectal cancer, and
pelvic floor dysfunction. She is board certified
in general surgery and colorectal surgery. She is
currently an attending surgeon in the Division of
Colon and Rectal Surgery at Cedars-Sinai Medical
Center, Los Angeles. She graduated with her
Bachelors Degree in Biological Sciences from
Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She
received her medical degree from Tufts University
School of Medicine, one of the top-notch medical
schools which has clinical affiliations with
thousands of researchers and doctors all over the
world. She has presented her research on both
national and international levels. She has also
