design and build new aircraft or aircraft parts.
They spend most of their time working on a
computer, blueprints, and cutting edge
technology. They tend to work a regular 40 hour
week. Engineers spend a lot of time testing
machines that they have built.

    annually
  • Masters-63,000
  • PhDs-73000
  • The median annual earning for an aerospace

  • Most make between 60,000 and 120,000 a year.
  • Experienced-well over 125,000
  • Receive many benefits

Education
A bachelors degree in aerospace engineering is
usually the minimum educational requirement to
work in this field. But a masters or PhD degree
is often required to move to a more senior
position. In college, aerospace engineering
students are introduced to subjects that are
central to their study. As their study
increases, students focus more on the subject
that interests them most.
