How Hersheys Chocolate is Made

Step 1

• Get cacao beans from far away places like West
  African Country of Cote, Ghana, Indonesia,
  Brazil, Ecuador, Togo, Mexico, Papua New Guinea.

• Send the cacao beans to 19 East Chocolate Avenue,
  Hershey Pa.

Step 3

• After the Hershey company gets the cacao beans,
  they have to melt the cacao beans.

• Get milk from cows at a farm.

• Mix the milk with the melted cacao beans.

• Bake the chocolate in the oven at a hot temp.

• Wrap the chocolate in the Hersheys wrapper.

• Sell the product in stores.

Recipes

• 1-1/2 cups sugar
• 1-1/4 cups HERSHEY'S Cocoa
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 3/4 cup hot water
• 1 gallon milk
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
•  
• Directions
• Combine sugar, cocoa and salt in 6-quart
  saucepan gradually add water. Cook over medium
  heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils.
  Boil and stir 2 minutes. Add milk. Heat to
  serving temperature, stirring frequently. Do not
  boil. Remove from heat stir in vanilla. Serve
  hot. About twenty-two 6-oz. servings
